My client is an award winning world leader in multi-product online trading and use the latest Microsoft technologies with special focus on Visual C# and C++. On their behalf we are looking for software development professionals to be located in Copenhagen to join an established team of talented and supportive professionals.

The work environment

The team you would join designs, develops and maintains the server-side software systems for a market leading, world-class, financial trading platform. Key words are accuracy, efficiency, reliability and scalability.

We would prefer you have experience with financial applications (especially trading and risk management applications) but this is not a prerequisite so you will also get a chance to learn all about the wonderful world of online trading.

Preference will be given to those candidates who already have a EU passport or are able to legally work in the EU. We would be especially delighted to hear from any candidates who are originally from Denmark.

Qualifications:

To be considered you should have:

• Minimum 6 years solid experience developing major applications using C++ or C# especially with a focus on high performance Microsoft server side multithreaded programming.
• Proven success in advanced systems software design
• Software development/architecture best practices experience (e.g. test driven development, unit testing, continuous integration)
• Excellent communication skills
• Another language especially Danish would be nice but English is the working language

· Business knowledge or willingness to learn quickly, about the financial industry, preferably electronic trading, common trading rules and market risk management.
