My client is a leader
in its field. With a dominant position in North America and a solid base in the
UK and Europe they are now gearing up to continue their rapid growth. Their
comprehensive solution offers the only end-to-end collections and recovery
solution in the marketplace and includes workflow management software, scoring
and analytics.
By applying
cutting-edge statistical and data analysis techniques to complex data,
predictive analytics enable our clients to distill an immense amount of data and
complex data interrelationships down to clear forecasts of customer behavior.
They are currently looking for a Product Integration - J2EE Developer to
perform the following:
•Assist with the development of Java/J2EE
software
•Provide input into the design of
new/revised Debt Manager applications.
•Provide support to clients when needed,
either directly or by supporting the customer facing support team.
•Work with the Development Team on
development, product support and performance issues.
•Develop software to specification
•Provide Technical Support for Clients
whether via the telephone or on-site
•Support standards ensuring ISO9000
compliance.
•Support junior colleagues with their
technical development
•Plan own work and report progress to the
Team Leader.
•Provide support to other teams e.g. Pre
Sales, Customer Support and Technical Support when required
•Will be committed to seeking continued
improvement to technical and Debt Manager product knowledge.
Qualifications:
Essential:
•Has a working knowledge of Microsoft
Windows NT, 2000 and XP.
•Exposure to WebSphere (V4 or later),
WebLogic (V6 or later) or other commercial Application Server
•A minimum of 24 months development
experience with Java, J2EE (JSP and Servlets) and the STRUTS MVC framework.
•Practical or good theoretical OOA/UML
skills
•Experienced user of Eclipse or other
major Java IDE development tool
•At least 12 months experience working
with sophisticated HTML and Javascript
Desirable:
•Experience working with at least one of
the major SQL database engines (Oracle or DB2 preferred
•Exposure to agile development methods
•A basic working knowledge of any Unix
variant
•An experienced user of the Internet
•Experience using ANT.
•Experience with EJB and JMS technologies.
•Experience with XML technologies
•Able to work with and help the team
devise ISO 9000 compliant procedures and processes.
•Worked on custom developments;
understands the need and seeks opportunities to charge work back to clients.
