Description

We currently have an opening for a Storage Analyst to join our client’s Infrastructure and Operations team. This is a great opportunity to join one of the leading and most innovative Insurance companies in Canada at their downtown Toronto location.

Responsibilities:

- Provision of technical expertise and support of the team leader in all relevant Storage Management matters, as well as advice and guidance regarding appropriate Storage and Backup Management solutions for new projects across the complete set of platforms from Mainframe to Intel.

- Ensuring that storage and backup and management requirements are incorporated into all new project designs and responding to all project requests.

- Configuring all external storage arrays, fabric components and software, and backup server software on master and media servers.

- Responding to all storage or backup service requests that have been raised through the correct process and ensure adherence to SLAs and OLAs.

- Providing support for Corporate Backup Solution and Corporate Storage Infrastructure, escalating to external providers if necessary.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 3 years experience in a technical capacity and solid, demonstrable experience in storage management.
