Perhaps you are wondering why you should contact CPC International. After all, the growth of internet based job boards is often touted as the solution to a company's recruiting needs and there are plenty of other agencies to consider.

In fact most companies still continue to rely upon the services of external recruiters to help them. The reasons are varied but whether it be for time constraints or other factors using the right recruiter can often lead to new opportunities that you wouldn't otherwise know existed!

Our approach

As you probably already know most agencies base their business around only filling current orders. They merely see you as a collection of skills that, in many cases, are just automatically scanned from your resume and matched against current openings. In many cases you do not actually meet a recruiter or, if you do, you will spend 30 minutes filling in their forms and just a few minutes in face to face interviews.

We have a different approach. We don’t just match resumes with orders. Because of our background in IT we can fully understand a client's requirements and by spending time getting to know the candidate, including what they have accomplished and what they are looking for, we can truly identify the right opportunity for our candidates.

However, we don't stop there. In addition to considering you as a potential candidate for one of our active orders we go further. Once we are satisfied that you are a qualified candidate we can use our network of contacts to find opportunities before they are even posted.

Switzerland opens doors to EU workers

Do you fancy the idea of living and working in Switzerland? Well, if you are the holder of a European Union passport you now can. Although Switzerland is not a member country of the EU, a referendum held on February 8^th. 2009 has approved an agreement for the free movement of workers from the European Union on its territory. This applies to all members of the EU including the newly admitted states of Bulgaria and Romania.

You may be able to get a EU passport

Do you know that it may be easier to get an EU passport than you think? Certain countries, Ireland and Italy amongst them, have made it quite easy to get citizenship and of course a passport. What do you need? Well at least one of your Grandparents must have (or had) the appropriate citizenship.

What does this mean for you? Well, after we informed one of our candidates about this possibility, he was able to use the fact that one of his grandparents was born in Ireland to get an Irish passport. CPC was then able to help him find a job in Germany.
